Closed petition Create a national register of perpetrators of domestic abuse

I would like the Government to create a national register with details of all people who have been convicted of domestic abuse offences. This should cover physical abuse, mental abuse, emotional abuse, coercive control.

I don’t feel enough is being done to prevent these perpetrators from continuing the cycle of abuse. Any kind of domestic abuse is serious and I feel more needs to be done. I believe creating a national register is a good start that could help reduce incidence of domestic abuse.
