Closed Create financial penalties for property buyers who pull out of purchases

We want the Government to impose financial penalties on property purchasers who pull out of a purchase after submitting a final offer, unless there is a good reason. The fine should be paid to the seller.

Buyers pulling out after submitting an offer can have huge financial implications for sellers, and affect people's mental health.

Buyers should only be able to pull out of a sale if there is a good reason, such as serious faults being found following an inspection, not just because they change their mind or find another property.
