Rather, in line with nature groups open letter to the PM, make haste to strengthen environmental laws, protect nature, and invest in natural infrastructure to support a sustainable economy.

Proposals within the recent Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill and the Planning and Infrastructure Bill will compromise the Government's potential to meet legally-binding
climate and nature targets, destabilise businesses and long-term sustainability of our economy, and accelerate environmental decline that will have a destructive effect on people and nature.
The Conservative Government was elected with a commitment to ambitious environmental reforms and is reneging on their promise.
