Closed Allow people over state pension age to newly qualify for PIP higher mobility

Change PIP so people over state pension age can have their claim increased to the higher mobility rate, where their mobility worsens.

People are living longer and experiencing reduced mobility, but once you over state pension age the mobility rate PIP cannot be increased to the higher rate.

By allowing pensioners access to higher rate PIP it allows access to the Motability Scheme and could help more people to be able to drive, which is especially important to those in rural areas.
