Closed Increase ‘thank you’ payments for Homes for Ukraine hosts

Encourage more Homes for Ukraine hosts to continue hosting after the initial six months by offering greater financial support.

This will offer more stability for Ukrainian refugees.

It will take pressure off local councils who are underfunded and under resourced.

It will be cheaper and more efficient than rehoming refugees in emergency or other social housing.

Host families will benefit from greater financial support during the cost of living crisis. More people in the house = bigger bills.

Hopefully it will prevent homelessness in the Ukrainian refugee population in the UK.
