Closed petition Restrict the sale and use of fireworks by the public to certain celebration days

Restrict the sale and use of fireworks to the general public to: November the 5th, New Year’s Eve, Chinese New Year Eve and one night for Diwali. To cut down on the noise nuisance and distress they cause to other people and animals.

More details

We believe it is unreasonable that fireworks can legally be used any day of the year till 11pm and the law should be changed to better protect the wellbeing of those who find the noise distressing or disturbing.
