Rejected petition Cancel the HS2 project

We ask Parliament to cancel the HS2 project to help fill the £50 billion black hole in public finances.

More details

Since 2010 HS2 has been an unmitigated financial, logistical & environmental disaster.

The DfT / HS2 Ltd have repeatedly mislead MP's & the public about the true costs of the HS2 project & unvested sources tell us that the actual cost is now £155 billion.

We can no longer afford HS2, with it's spiralling costs & blowing it's budget (again) with still 10 years to delivery, cancel it now & save £147 billion.
