The signing of Magna Cart represents a monumentous moment in British legal and political history. It represents the birth of constitutional mechanisms that have led to the sophistication of modern Britain.

In its 800th, 2015, let the government recognise this pivotal moment in UK, and World History, by granting the nation a holiday of recognition.

As the foundation of Britain's sprit, character and nationhood, every free, proud Brit should support this day of celebration.
