Closed Give all children with an EHCP a right to free school transport

Currently not all children with an education, health and care plan (EHCP) qualify for free transport to school. We want the Government to give all children with an EHCP a right to free school transport, so that this must be provided by the relevant local authority

There are many children who have an EHCP, and the child goes to a school for children with special educational needs, but are not helped with school transport because they live too close to the school, or they have chosen not to go to the school nearest them.
