Create a new Veterans Day Public Holiday.

Numerous countries around the world have public holidays to celebrate, commemorate and remember their Armed Forces and Veterans.

Workers in England and Wales typically get eight bank holidays a year, compared to a European average of 12.3 public holidays. The longest gap between bank holidays is between August and Christmas, as the majority of bank holidays are bunched together in Spring.
