Rejected petition Make London the OFFICIAL CAPITAL of the United Kingdom
Rejected on
Make London the official capital of the UK as there is no document about it.
It would strengthen the union and keep the UK alive.
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.
A capital city is normally determined by where a nation's government and parliament reside, and it's not clear what you want the Government to do to make London's status as the UK's capital "official".
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
