Closed Require a Guard/Train Manager on every train

Require that every train has a guaranteed safety critical guard/train manager onboard as mandatory for all train operating companies. Prevent the use of Driver Only Operated trains

Rail reform taking place and threat Driver Only Operated (DOO) trains. This would be a disaster for rail.

The guard is vital, leads in charge whenever an onboard emergency occurs, operational such a fire or medical, passengers or criminal.

Guards lead evacuations, assists the driver in train movement, trained to rules, assist vulnerable passengers, carry out train protection and use G-SMR with signallers and do revenue.

DOO discriminates against passengers requiring assistance, especially at unmanned stations
