Closed petition Regulate slimming companies

I would like to see anyone who approaches a company offering slimming techniques or diets to be required to seen in person by a qualified dietician or doctor first.

My fiancée, Hannah has lived with diets since she was a young girl, she is now a woman in her 40's and struggling with bulimia... her weight has gone from a healthy 8.5st to 6.9st... this in main is down to a slimming company who was happy to take her on during the pandemic on a phone call alone!! I have approached them and because Hannah is no longer paying her fee to them, they do not want to know!! She is now at danger point where her organs could fail, she loves running but is unable too.... she loves food but it is the enemy... so I want to see a change to how these companies work.
