Autoimmune disorders generally require prescribed medication. Medications to treat these disorders compromise the immune system leaving individuals susceptible to infections, 'Flare up's' are also a common battle, both of which require further medication. This can be costly.

These disorders can impact a person's physical and mental well-being. Developing depression or anxiety is significantly greater than Indvidual's without these conditions and again, requires treatment.

Autoimmune disorders can affect anyone at any age. People with this disorder carry further health risks, developing other autoimmune diseases is one of them.

Unfortunately, there is currently no cure and many suffering require treatment for the rest of their lives.
