Closed Make a driving licenses mandatory for electrical scooters

Electrical scooters can be dangerous, for the drivers, for the pedestrians, for the animals and the surroundings where most vehicles are not allowed.

They are often driven carelessly on the pavements at high speeds, can be used by thieves to get away, and can cause life-threatening accidents.

We want the Government to make having a full driving licence a requirement for anyone who uses an electronic scooter, to improve the safety and wellbeing of communities where these are used.
