Closed Ban second jobs for Members of Parliament

To prohibit secondary employment whilst being a Member of Parliament.

Being an MP should not be treated like part-time employment. If you’re an MP this should be your only job. MPs should give 100% commitment to the country and their constituents.

As the Guardian has reported that despite commitments by the Government to clamp down on MPs having second jobs, MPs made £5 million from other jobs: https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/nov/27/moonlighting-mps-earn-more-than-ever-from-second-jobs-despite-crackdown

We believe this compromises MPs main role, not least by time given.
