Closed Give police and Courts greater powers to tackle driving while using a phone

We want police and courts to have stronger powers to clamp down on this life-threatening offence. We believe police should in some circumstances be able to seize some combination of an offender's phone, licence or even car; perhaps all three, as should the Courts.

We believe the threat of losing a phone, licence or car will deter many more people from this dangerous behavior than do the current penalties.
