Closed Require police officers to undergo enhanced DBS check before appointment

We would like the Government to introduce a law requiring police officers to have an enhanced DBS check before they can be appointed to a police force.

In light of multiple cases of police officers committing violent crimes, including sexual offences, usually against women, we are calling for all police officers to be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check in order to be appointed.
