Closed Petitions passing 1 million calling for a general election, should be honoured

Enact legislation such that if an e-petition calling for a general election gains more than 1 million signatures, then the Government must call a general election.

Public opinion on the current Government is one the lowest for almost any incumbent government, yet the public are unable to force a general election.

If the country is to be run democratically, then the people should be listened to, especially if they want a general election.
