Closed petition End the convention of paying for the legal representation of former Ministers
Closed on
We would like to ensure that the taxpayer is not funding payment of legal fees for former Ministers.
People are struggling to heat and eat currently, yet the taxes we pay are being used to pay for the former Prime Minister's legal representation over "Partygate". He took a personal decision that the police found to be in breach of a law that his Government introduced, and he and other former Ministers needing legal representation in cases like this should have to pay their own fees.
