We are a trading nation that ultimately depends on sales of our goods and services; by joining EFTA the UK can also apply to be party to the EEA (European Economic Area) agreement allowing us completely tariff-free trade with the EU.

1. Opportunity to completely eliminate tariffs with over 430 million customers.
2. It should simplify the Northern Ireland border problem.
3. Help reduce tensions with Scotland improve long term hopes for the continuation of the Union.
4. Help regain our reputation as a stable, English speaking country as a stepping stone into Europe for the rest of the world.
