Closed petition Create state-owned accommodation and working space in London for MPs

Fund a purpose-built facility with accommodation and working space within travelling distance from Parliament, for use by MPs.

In the long term this could save the taxpayer money, in reduced expenses for MPs.

Because the cost of living crisis has put prices up, funding a dedicated facility to accommodate MPs when they are in London, with an on-site canteen, could save millions a year

The taxpayer has suffered enough and this would be a secure centralised place where MPs would stay when in London.
