Closed petition Require internet-enabled devices be set to 'children's settings' by default

The intention is to require all browsers and apps on internet-enabled devices to be set to their safest / most restricted levels for searching and connectivity, with standardised settings for these levels.

More details

Currently, it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to restrict internet accessibility through the tools available. The issue is that these can be complicated and confusing to administer, especially for anyone who is not IT literate. This can leave gaps that make it possible for children to be exposed to harmful content. The ask if for the introduction of a law that all internet-enabled devices need to have adult / inappropriate content disabled by default, not the other way around.
