Closed Stop the Illegal Migration Bill

Simply, do not allow this bill to become law! We believe this bill, that would permanently ban illegal immigrants from re-entering the UK and applying for British citizenship, is draconian and will not fulfil its purpose of stopping boats from crossing the Channel.

This bill is opposed by the Refugee Council, which has said "The plans won’t stop the crossings but will simply leave traumatised people locked up in a state of misery being treated as criminals and suspected terrorists without a fair hearing on our soil."
