Closed Make it unlawful to wear full face coverings in public

It is crucial to create a policy that makes it unlawful to wear full face coverings, such as balaclavas, in public. Many young people wear these masks to feel included in their group of friends, or to disguise themselves when they engage in offensive behaviour.

They can make it difficult for victims to recognise offenders and can spread fear among children and vulnerable groups of people.
