We’re waiting for a new Petitions Committee

Petitions had to stop because of the recent general election. Once a new Petitions Committee is set up by the House of Commons, petitions will start again.

Closed petition Require schools have at least one Physical Education lesson a day

I think that the national curriculum should require that pupils have one lesson of Physical Education everyday.

More details

Exercise is proven to improve mental health and ability to focus, which could help schoolchildren learn. If schoolchildren have one lesson of Physical Education ever day they could learn more and have better mental health, which should in turn improve their progress in school. It will also benefit their physical well-being.
