Closed Fully fund pay awards for school staff

We want any pay award for school staff (teachers and support staff) to be fully funded by the Government.

Many schools do not have the finance to pay for staff pay awards. Teachers and support staff deserve a pay rise, but this must be fully funded by the Government. Failure to fully fund may see schools cutting jobs and courses. This could directly impact on student outcomes and wellbeing. It is disingenuous to think schools can fund the pay awards from existing budgets.
