Rejected petition Minimum life sentence for sexual assault on a minor

I want the government to give minimum life sentences to anyone who sexually assaults a minor from kissing them to sexual intercourse this is a pro flux crime that impacts the victim for a life time and people around them or anyone who builds relationships with them

It’s one of the most disgusting criminal acts with in our country which ruins multiple life there are less serious crimes which have higher sentences for them and I think anyone who has experienced this crime or knows anyone knows the true impact it has on them for the remainder of there lives
