Nigerians provide vital services across all sectors in the UK. As part of Commowealth family it is disheartening that contributions of Nigerians to the UK healthcare sector has not been appreciated. Considering current NHS crisis; Nigerians have the youthful population and skills to help our NHS.

This will ensure the skilled staff needed to reduce the shortage of trained caregivers in the UK healthcare ecosystem thereby reducing the numbers of elderly patients staying in hospitals longer than required as there are not enough caregivers to care for them in the comfort of their homes. Care homes are constantly looking for staff and Nigeria with its younger population can provide the trained staff needed to reduce the immense pressure our beloved NHS is currently facing.
