Closed Require ingredients and full allergen information on labels for alcoholic drink

We want labels for alcoholic drinks to include the same ingredient and allergen information that is required for other food and drink products. Currently no ingredient list is required for alcoholic drinks, and there are less stringent requirements on listing allergens.

Those with intolerances and allergies are exposed to risk when drinking alcoholic products. For example, some gins are infused with nuts but give no indication of this on labels. Whereas with food and other products all ingredients and allergen information is easily found on product labels

Simply including ingredients and full allergen information on a label will help include and give peace of mind to those who have allergies or intolerances.
