Closed petition Take action to support increased access to food for homeless people

I would like for the Government to increase funding for soup kitchens and other venues that provide food to homeless people and also work with hospitality businesses to encourage them to give leftovers to homeless people, to help ensure homeless people can eat.

I want the Government to do this as I think this a good way to improve the quality of life for homeless people. I understand people are seeking more support to help get homeless people off the streets, but I believe my goal is more realistic to help them and give them something that can improve their lives whilst rehoming is being worked out.
