Closed Introduce new rules on packaging/labelling and displaying alcohol products

I am an alcoholic in recovery and would like to help myself and others who are struggling with addiction. I believe that keeping alcohol displays concealed in shops, like tobacco products are, will help those addicted to alcohol, just as it has helped those addicted to smoking.

We believe this will also improve the quality of life in society. We urge the Government to take action to make alcohol less attractive and visible in shops. Plain packaging and clear warnings would counteract marketing. Hidden display of alcohol will reduce temptation for those in recovery. Legal requirement needed to promote responsible drinking and reduce harm. Thank you for your consideration.
