Closed petition Increase Natural England's budget to £1 billion
Closed on
For 2022-2023 Natural England's planned funding was £261.6 million. This is £12 million less than its funding in 2008. When inflation is accounted for it's a third less. However, given we are in biodiversity crisis I am calling on the Government to do more and increase the budget to £1 billion.
Planned funding for 2022 to 2023 taken from here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/natural-england-action-plan-2022-to-2023
