Closed Disband CBDC Taskforce & commit to not introducing Central Bank Digital Currency

We want the Government to disband the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) Taskforce, and commit to not introducing a CBDC.

We believe Central Bank Digital Currencies are a waste of taxpayer money and government time.

They could also create risks of government overreach and access to peoples' spending habits data, and the possibility of programmable money. Although the Government has been clear this is not its intention this could change in the future and so the system should not be brought in.
