Legislate so that the pay award for junior doctors and nurses is never less than the increase given to pensioners and other benefit claimants.

This year as a pensioner I received a 10.1% increase in my State Pension and other benefits were increased by the same rate. To continue to receive that benefit I need only stay alive yet the NHS pay deal means that many nurses and doctors have been offered only half that amount.
