Petition Introduce a temporary Blue Badge scheme

Currently eligibility for Blue Badges is linked to the permanence of a disability or condition. There are children and adults that require wheelchairs or walking aides for periods of less than three years and can't manage without use of disabled parking.

The Government should update its guidance to include temporary disabilities and allow for temporary disabled blue badges to be issued for periods up to one year.
