Lyn, the mother of Lee, and her husband Ian set up the Lee Rigby foundation in 2016, for bereaved Military families and veterans, in memory of Lee Rigby RIP.

Because little recognition appears to have been made on the bereaved family and foundation volunteers, in respect of their work for the good of others.

Lee was horrifically murdered on the 22nd May 2013. Despite the loss of her only son, Lyn deserves some recognition for her dedication to other bereaved Military families, and veterans, despite her sad loss.
