Closed Reduce higher rate income tax from 40% to 30% for income under £150k

Review the % of income tax for those earning £150,000 or less to help put money back into the economy.

There is too much of a jump from 20% to 40% for those earning £150,000 or less. Reduce that jump to 30% for those who qualify for 40% income tax. Perhaps keep the threshold at 40% for those who have a basic salary of over £150,000.

Up to £40,000 = 20%
£40,001 - £150,000 = 30%
£150,001 - £250,000 = 40%
£250,000 + = 45%
