Closed petition Provide funding to make shops and other businesses wheelchair accessible

I am a wheelchair user and when I go out I can barely go in any shops or buildings because they are not wheelchair friendly at all. The shops are too crowded or the doorways are way too small to get the wheelchair into.

It’s not fair on us if we want to socialise and have some normality in our lives and then we get stopped by simple things like not being able to go into a shop. It is 2023 and it’s still happening. It’s not fair at all. We should be allowed some normalisation like everyone else.
