Closed Allow international students and those with graduate visas to bring dependents

The Home Office has announced plans to place limits on international students bringing their dependents. We believe this is unreasonable, and contrary to human rights.

We believe this is not a welcoming policy for our economy and will not encourage students to choose the UK. The UK Government could lose billions of pounds because of such harsh and unwelcoming policies.

This country is facing a shortage of workers and this policy may mean that international students, who could contribute to the future workforce, choose to go to Australia, Canada, or New Zealand instead.

The Government should allow international students to bring their dependents on a student visa or when they get a graduate visa (Post-Study Work visa - PSW).
