Closed Take action to improve motorway driving and prevent middle lane hogging

We want the Government to introduce stricter penalties for middle lane hogging on motorways, and clearly define this in legislation and the Highway Code. We also want the Government to introduce new content on motorway driving to tests for approved driving instructors and motorists.

Middle lane hogging hampers traffic flow and can cause accidents. Stricter penalties, defined regulations, and enhanced training and testing should help promote responsible driving. The Government must take action to ensure effective enforcement and enhanced road safety.
