Closed petition Require water companies offer WaterSure to DLA, PIP, AA, CA claimants

We want the Government to require water companies to offer WaterSure to claimants of Carer's Allowance, Disability Living Allowance, Personal Independence Payment and Attendance Allowance. Currently it is up to water companies whether claimants of these benefits are eligible for WaterSure support.

Many disabled or chronically ill people already face huge extra living costs, as a result of their condition. The energy crisis and cost of living crisis has already financially impacted affected disabled people massively. Currently many water companies only offer WaterSure schemes if someone claims an income-based benefit. Yet, other significant benefits have been left out. Disabled people and carers, who use extra water as a result of a condition, must be offered this support.
