Closed Require CCTV in all public parks and recreation grounds

I want the Government to make it safer for communities to enjoy public spaces by requiring local authorities have comprehensive CCTV to help prevent crimes taking place there and keep people safe.

There’s been a number of sexual assaults, thefts and drug usage/dealing taking place in our local parks where our children play where we walk our dogs or just go for a walk.

EVERY PERSON has the right to be safe and enjoy that space. If there were CCTV we believe our kids would be safer, and our parks would be safe places to be. In the event crimes are committed our police would have a better chance to find and arrest perpetrators so they can be prosecuted. Please help our communities be safer places.
