Petition Create a 99p coin because many every day items end in 99p.

We would like the government to issue a 99p coin. We think this would help cashiers as they wouldn't have to spend extra time getting change out of the register. This would help reduce queueing times.

We believe a 99p coin would also help limit the time spent searching for change, as fumbling through the place you keep your money to find and count random coins is a bit annoying.
