Closed petition Require all hotel staff with access to room keys have enhanced DBS checks

We want the Government to require all hotels to enhance DBS check all staff who will have access to hotel room keys, prior to providing access to hotel room keys.

This will help protect women, children and all people who are vulnerable when they are in their hotel room asleep at night.

There is no industry standard to enhance DBS or even DBS check hotel staff and many hotel staff have the ability to enter guest bedrooms anytime of the day or night. In order to ensure the wrong people cannot take advantage of this I request that staff with the ability to access guests rooms should be Enhanced DBS checked.
