Petition Make people with high blood pressure eligible for free prescriptions

The Government should offer those who are being treated with high blood pressure free prescriptions. This can be life-saving medication. If people suddenly stop taking their medication this can be extremely detrimental to health, an cost is often a reason people choose not to take medication.

People with certain other chronic illnesses or diseases are offered free prescription medication. Particularly if blood pressure medication is to be taken for life, it should be available without charge.
