Closed Minimum sentence of 5 years for carrying a knife with a minimum fine of £10k

Implement harder sentencing along with a minimum fine. If they don’t have the money to pay the fine, they should have to do community service and have a substantial amount (so it is effective), automatically taken from their wages with a specific tax code until it’s paid.

We think our justice system needs to clamp down on knife crime. Lives are affected by this daily and it is wrong. The Government should act now. The streets are not safe and we have to walk them.
