I would like an official Memorial Day to recognise all of the doctors, nurses and other health workers who died during the pandemic. They were all heroes.

They made the biggest sacrifice of all with their lives. This should not have happened.

We never went into work in the medical and nursing field expecting to make the biggest sacrifice of all, dying.
