We want the Government to celebrate and support disability pride month in July, in the same way it supports pride month for the LGBT+ community in June.

As a disability advocate I think it is important to celebrate everyone and I mean everyone! People with disabilities are too often made to be ashamed of themselves! That needs to change!

The Government is active around pride month for the LGBT+ community, but not disability pride month. I want to Government to celebrate and support disability pride in the UK, in the same way it does pride month for the LGBT+ community.
