Closed Let everyone access the sex offenders register

I want the sex offenders register to be open to all UK residents. They should be able to see details of offenders in their area. People have a right to know who they are living near to.

I think everyone, especially parents, should be allowed to access the sex offenders register. Many people may have bought a house and then, once settled, discover they are next door to a sex offender, or that sex offenders are housed near their children's schools etc. We all have a right to know where these offenders live so we can protect our children.
